Tässäpä siis postaus kynsilakoistani.... tätä päivitellään sitä mukaa kun lakkamäärät lisääntyy. :) Olen luokitellut lakat värin mukaan... koska se tuntuu itselle luonnolliselta tavalta. Lahjaksi saadut lakat on merkattu tähdellä *

...mustat/valkeat/harmaat/ruskeat lakat puuttuvat, koska unohdin kuvata ne... eli lisäkuvia tulossa jossain vaiheessa. x)

Mickey & Minnie Mouse

OPI on julkaisut jo kaksi Minni Hiirestä inspiroitunutta kynsilakkakokoelmaa. Olen kovasti saanut hillittyä itseni, vaikka olenkin HYVIN suuri Disney-fani ja rakastan punaisia lakkoja. (Vintage Minnie - 2012 swatchit ja Couture Minnie - 2013 swatchit.) Tilasin siis hetkelliseksi lohdukkeeksi Mikki ja Minni-decalseja. x)

OPI has released already two Minnie Mouse-inspired polish collections. I have succesfully avoided buying them, even though I'm HUGE Disney-fan and I love red polishes. (Vintage Minnie - 2012 swatches ja Couture Minnie - 2013 swatches.) But I ordered some cute decals with Mickie and Minnie Mouse when I saw these. 

Pohjalakkana ORLY:n Nail Armor, jota olen lahjakkaasti kohta kuluttanut pullollisen. Näin pitkään tuota käyttäneenä voisin sanoa, että ainakin kynteni ovat huomattavasti kovemmat ja kasvavat huomattavasti helposti pitkiksi. (Minun mittapuullani) Aiemmin en saanut kuin pikkurillin kynsiä kasvamaan ~1cm yli sormenpään, nyt onnistunut siinä lähes jatkuvasti ja saan pidettyä kynnet helposti siinä pituudessa.

Basecoat is ORLY:s Nail Armour, which I have used almost whole bottle. After using it this long, I could say that my nails are much harder and grow more easily longer. (In my standards.) Earlier I couldn't get them over 1cm, but now I can do it easily and actually keep them in that length. 


Päällilakkana (paitsi nimettömässä) oli China Glazen 2012 Holiday Joy-kokoelmasta Red Satin. Kyseessä siis tomaatin?punainen creme/jelly sekoitus. Levittyvyys on taas aivan upea, peittävyyteen riittää kaksi kerrosta. Kyseessä siis uskomattoman kiiltävä "peruspunainen". Väri ei olisi tarvinnut edes päällilakkaa, mutta pitihän sitä laittaa noiden decalien takia.

Top coat (except for ring-finger) is China Glazes 2012 Holiday Joy-collections Red Satin. It is tomato(?) red creme/jelly combination. Spreading is great, full coverage is two layers. It is incredibly high-shine "basic red." I didn't necessary need a top-coat, but decals do, so...

Nimettömässä Jolly Jewelsin 110 Mavalan White:n päällä. Mavalasta en pidä, mutta yritän saada sen käytettyä ennen kuin hankin itselleni paremman valkean... ja toisaalta kyllä se kelpaa kerrostamiseen. Varsinkin kun Jolly Jewelsin valkea pohja häivytti Mavalan raidat... toisaalta tuo JJ näyttää huomattavasti paremmalta valkean päältä, kuin yksinään. (Vertaa vasen ja oikea........)

Ring finger was done with Jolly Jewels 110 over Mavala's White. I really don't like Mavala, but I'm trying to finish the bottle before I buy myself a better white... and it is ok-polish for layering like this.. Especially since JJ's white base covered the stripes Mavala had... and on the other hand JJ looks much better over white base, than on it's own. (Compare left and right....)

Nimettömässä on ihan liikaa glitteriä. : / en tykkää.
Ringfinger has WAY too much glitter.... : / I don't like. 

Viimeiseen kuvaan pääsi mukaan karvasydän. <3 Ja oli muuten ihana ottaa kuvia luonnonvalossa, valkeaa paperia vasten. Ei tarvinnut käsitellä kuvia lainkaan, jotta sai haluamansa lopputuloksen.

Furry heart-pillow made it to the last picture. <3 And I have to say... it was great to take pictures in the natural light, against white paper. I didn't have to do anything to this pictures to get the result I wanted. (Just the way it should be)

Onko teillä jotain noista OPI:n lakoista, mitä? Vai onko teilläkin ne vasta himotuksen asteella? :) Vai oletteko onnistuneesti hillinneet himoa jotenkin... mutta seuraavaan kertaan! :)

Uusimmat kynnet ja postimiehen uusin paketti

Pääsiäinen oli ja meni ja blogi vietti hiljaiseloa... kävimme siis vanhempieni luona, joten jäi tänne kirjoittaminen hetkeksi kokonaan. (En kyllä edes tiedä lukeeko tätä kukaan vai kirjoittelenko omaksi ilokseni. :)

Minun siis oli tarkoitus aloittaa tuo 31 päivän kynsihaaste, mutta jotenkin nuo värit eivät ole oikein oma juttu, varsinkin kun pitäisi aina hirveässä kiireessä yrittää väsätä jotain... joten suoritettuna on vasta kaksi ensimmäistä päivä.... (siitä varmaan lisää seuraavassa postauksessa)

Eastern went by without any posts, I'm sorry for that. I visited my parents with my boyfriend, so I didn't have the time to write here.... (Although I don't even know does anybody read this or not... :)

So, I was supposed to start that 30 days challenge, and I even managed to do the first and the second days, but I guess the colors just aren't my thing most of the time. 

Anyways here's on of my recent manicures, quite easy one at that. 

Pohjana oli W7:n stronger & longer. (Uusi pohjalakka, jonka vasta ostin Facebookin kynsilakkakirppikseltä.... testauksessa auttaisiko tämä kynsien kasvattelussa ja estäisikö vähän tuota lohkeilua)
Kultaisena Wild&Crazyn Madriel. Aiemmin käytin tätä suhteellisen usein, tuollainen aika perusperus kultainen, ei mitenkään ihmeellinen... en kuitenkaan muistanut miten luirua tämä oli. Kuvassa kolme kerrosta ja silti kynsiraja näkyisi, ellei kärjessä olisi glitteriä. Hakusessa olisi joku vaihtoehto tälle, mutta toisaalta harvemmin harrastan kultaista nykyisin, niin välttäkööt pullon loppuun.
Hopeana Wet&Wild Metallica. Hieman oli lakka paksuuntunut pullossa, pitäisi varmaan ennen seuraavaa käyttöä muistaa hieman ohentaa.... toisaalta nyt voisi käydä hyvinkin leimaukseen. :)
Glitterit ovat näitä kaikkien hehkuttamia Jolly Jewelsejä, sävyt 102 ja 103.

The base is W7 Stronger&Longer.  I just bought it recently, so I'm curious if it'll help me grow my nails longer and healthier. My nails chip really easily, so I'm trying my best to find some products to prevent it. 
The golden polish is Wild&Crazy Madriel. Some time ago I used this quite often, quite regular golden nailpolish, however I totally forgot how thin this was. I have three layers in the pic, and you could still see the tip, if there weren't the glitter polish. 
Silver is Wet&Wild Metallica. The polish had gotten a bit sticky, so I guess I should remember to use the thinner before the next time. 
Glitters are Jolly Jewels, shades 102 and 103. 

Käytin noita JJ:tä liukuvärjäykseen.... johon ne eivät ehkä olleet se paras valinta. Isommat glitterit eivät millään halunneet ulos pullosta ja pienemmätkään eivät oikein tehneet tuota liukuvärjäystä helpoksi... mutta kyllä näitä pari päivää kesti.

I used the glitters to do gradient... not the best possible choice. Bigger glitters didn't want to get out of the bottle and the smaller ones weren't helping ether.... but I managed to look at these for few days. 

Ja sitten postipakettiin..... tilasin siis jokin aika sitten Etude Housen käsirasvat testiin..Näin siis nämä ensimmäisen kerran Passion for Nails - blogissa. Kuka voisi vastustaa näin suloisia paketteja?

And then for the post-package... some time ago I ordered two hand-lotions from eBay. I first saw these at Passion for Nails - blog... and I just couldn't resist. 

Ensimmäinen näistä kahdesta on siis "Harp Seal" (Grönlanninhylje). Nämä ovat vuoden 2012 Missing U-kokoelmasta.  Muut eläimet ovat "Fairy Penguin" (kääpiöpingviini) -> talkki, "Panda" ->persikka ja "Pink dolphin" (Intian delfiini). Rasvaa on purkissa verrattaen vähän (30ml), mutta pienikin määrä tekee ihmeitä. Rasva on ohuen tuntuista, mutta täyteläistä ja pehmentää ihon hetkessä. Myös tuoksu on aivan ihastuttavan kepeä ja raikas.

First on is "Harp Seal". This is from 2012 Missing U-collection. The other animals are "Fairy Penguin" (Baby powder), Panda (Peach) and Pink Dolphin (Fiona). There aren't too much of the lotion in the jar, but in the case I don't mind. Lotion feels kinda thin, but it is rich and softens my skin in seconds. The scent is delightfully soft and fresh and stays long on the skin. 

Toinen rasva on tämän vuoden kokoelmasta "Cerulean Warbler" (en löytänyt tälle nimeä suomeksi). Muut linnut ovat "Eagle Owl" (Huuhkaja) -> kirsikka, "Kakapo" ->omena ja "Eastern glass owl" -> persikka. Rasvaa on saman verran kuin toisessakin purkissa, koostumuskin on samanlainen.... mutta tuoksusta en perusta niin paljoa, tuoksuu jotenkin liian teolliselle.

The second lotion is from this year's collection, "Cerulean Warbler". The other birds in the collection are "Eagle owl" (Cherry), "Kakapo" (apple) and "Eastern Glass Owl" (peach). The amount of lotion is about the same, even the texture is the same...but I'm not that certain about the scent. 

Näitä käsirasvoja saa siis eBaysta ~5€ hintaan/kpl. Ehkä hieman suolainen hinta noin pienestä määrästä rasvaa, eli en todennäköisesti ole näitä lisää tilaamassa.... mutta katsokaa nyt noita paketteja... ne on vaan ylisuloisia. x)

You can buy these lotions at eBay, around 5€ a piece. A bit pricey for the amount of lotion, so most likely I won't order these again.... but those packages... they are just too damn adorable! 

Mutta tässä kaikki tällä kertaa, nähdään uudestaan ja yritän kirjoitella vähän useamminkin ja vähän enemmän niitä kynsikuvia, vaikka vanhoja lakkauksia jos ei muuta.
